What You’ll Walk Away With
A clear, confident decision on which income lever to start with — based on your specific skills, available time, and income goals — plus a simple 30-day action plan to get your first lever moving immediately.

5.1

The Decision That Changes Everything

At this point you know what the system is. You understand the 12 levers. You’ve got the right mindset. You have a sense of how everything connects.

Now comes the most important practical decision you’ll make in this entire course:

Which lever do you start with?

Get this right and you’ll have early momentum — real results that motivate you to keep going and add more levers over time. Get it wrong — or worse, try to start everything at once — and you’ll spin your wheels for months, burn out, and quit before the compounding ever kicks in.

This module is a decision framework. We’re going to look at your unique situation across four factors, and by the end you’ll have a clear answer.

5.2

The Four Factors That Determine Your Starting Lever

Factor 1

Your Current Skills

The fastest path to your first dollar online is almost always through something you already know how to do. You don’t have to learn a brand new skill before you can earn — you just need to find the lever that maps most directly to what you already bring.

Ask yourself honestly:

→

Do you write well? → Affiliate Systems, Niche Authority, Email Sequences
→

Are you good at design? → Digital Products, Content Repurposing, Funnel Architecture
→

Do you understand technology or software? → Modern SaaS Stack, AI Workflows, Funnel Architecture
→

Are you good at teaching or explaining things? → Digital Products, High-Ticket Offers, Niche Authority
→

Are you organized and systematic? → AI Workflows, Recurring Revenue, Funnel Architecture
→

Are you good at sales or persuasion? → High-Ticket Offers, Funnel Architecture, Affiliate Systems
→

Do you understand social media? → Growth Systems, Content Repurposing, Lead Magnets

You don’t need to be an expert. You need to be good enough to provide value — and in most cases, “good enough” is a lower bar than you think, especially with AI amplifying your output.

Factor 2

Your Available Time

Be realistic here. The worst thing you can do is pick a lever that requires 20 hours a week when you only have 5. You’ll fall behind your own expectations, feel like you’re failing, and quit.

Here’s an honest breakdown of the time investment each lever requires in the first 90 days:

Lever Time to First Result Weekly Hours (Setup)
Affiliate Systems 60–90 days 8–12 hrs/wk
AI Workflows (service) 14–30 days 5–8 hrs/wk
Modern SaaS Stack Passive after setup 2–4 hrs/wk
Growth Systems 60–120 days 6–10 hrs/wk
High-Ticket Offers 7–30 days 4–8 hrs/wk
Lead Magnets 7–14 days to build 3–5 hrs/wk
Content Repurposing 30–60 days 5–8 hrs/wk
Email Sequences 14–30 days 3–6 hrs/wk
Niche Authority 60–120 days 6–10 hrs/wk
Digital Products 14–45 days 6–10 hrs/wk
Recurring Revenue 14–45 days 5–10 hrs/wk
Funnel Architecture 30–60 days 8–12 hrs/wk

5 hours or less / week

Start with High-Ticket Offers, AI Workflows, or Lead Magnets. Shortest path to first income without heavy content volume.

10+ hours / week

Affiliate Systems and Digital Products become very strong options — they take longer but compound the most aggressively over time.

Factor 3

Your Income Goal and Timeline

What do you need, and when do you need it? There’s no wrong answer — but your answer should shape your starting lever.

“I need income within 30 days.”

Start with High-Ticket Offers or AI Workflow Services. These are the shortest paths to a real paycheck because they involve selling a service directly to a client. One client at $500–$1,000 changes your month immediately.

“I want $500–$2,000/month within 90 days.”

Start with Digital Products or Recurring Revenue (retainer services). With the right product and basic promotion through your existing network and social media, hitting this range in 60–90 days is very realistic.

“I’m playing the long game — $5,000–$10,000+/month in 12 months.”

Start with Affiliate Systems or Niche Authority. These levers take longer but have the highest ceiling and strongest compounding effect. By month 12, a well-built affiliate content site can be earning $3,000–$10,000/month in largely passive income.

“I want quick income NOW and long-term compounding.”

Start with a service-based lever (High-Ticket or AI Workflows) for immediate income, and simultaneously plant seeds in a long-term lever (Affiliate or Niche Authority) that will compound over time.

Factor 4

Your Existing Assets

Most people have more to work with than they think. Before you pick your lever, take stock of what you already have:

👥

An existing audience?

(Social media followers, email list, YouTube subscribers, LinkedIn connections) → Start with High-Ticket Offers, Digital Products, or Affiliate Systems. You have a warm audience — use it.

🌎

An existing blog or website?

→ Start with Affiliate Systems or Lead Magnets. Your site is already an asset. Start monetizing it.

🛠

An existing skill that businesses need?

→ Start with AI Workflows (service), Recurring Revenue (retainer), or High-Ticket Offers. Package that skill, charge for it, and build from there.

🔣

Starting from zero?

That’s fine. Start with Lead Magnets + Email Sequences as your foundation (they build the asset every other lever needs), while using High-Ticket Offers or AI Workflows to generate income during the build phase.

5.3

The Starter Lever Matrix

Cross-reference your situation to find your best starting point:

Your Situation Best Starting Lever Second Lever to Add
Writer with time, playing long game Affiliate Systems Niche Authority
Tech-savvy, wants fast income AI Workflows (service) Modern SaaS Stack
Has existing knowledge/expertise High-Ticket Offers Digital Products
Creative, good at design Digital Products Content Repurposing
Has small existing audience Digital Products Email Sequences
Wants passive recurring income Affiliate Systems Recurring Revenue
Limited time (5 hrs/week) High-Ticket Offers Lead Magnets
Complete beginner, no assets Lead Magnets + Email High-Ticket Offers
Understands marketing/funnels Funnel Architecture High-Ticket Offers
Social media native Growth Systems Content Repurposing

5.4

The Two-Track Approach (Recommended for Most Students)

Here’s the framework I recommend for the majority of students in this course — especially if you’re starting from zero or near zero.

Track 1

Fast Cash Track

Months 1–3

Pick a service-based lever that produces income quickly. High-Ticket Offers or AI Workflow Services. Goal: land one or two clients, generate your first $500–$2,000 online, and prove to yourself that this works.

Track 2

Long Game Track

Months 1–12, running in parallel

While Track 1 earns, you’re planting seeds in a content-driven lever — Affiliate Systems, Niche Authority, or Digital Products. By month 6, this track starts to produce. By month 12, it’s compounding.

Both tracks running together gives you income now and income that grows. It solves the biggest problem most online entrepreneurs face: chasing fast money with no long-term asset, or building long-term assets with no near-term income to stay motivated.

5.5

Your 30-Day Fast Start Plan

Once you’ve chosen your starting lever, here’s how to move in the first 30 days. The structure applies to all levers.

Week 1
Set Up
✓Complete the Core Toolkit section (Section 2 of this course)
✓Set up the specific tools your chosen lever requires
✓Do the foundational research for your lever (niche, offer, keywords — depending on lever)
✓Define your target audience: who specifically are you serving?
Week 2
Create
✓Build your first asset: your first piece of content, product draft, offer, or lead magnet — depending on your lever
✓Use AI to accelerate the creation process (every lever section shows you exactly how)
✓Don’t wait for it to be perfect. Get a working version done.
Week 3
Launch
✓Put your first asset in front of people
✓Share it in your existing network (social media, email contacts, online communities)
✓If you’re doing a service lever: send your first 5–10 outreach messages to potential clients
✓If you’re doing a content lever: publish your first piece and submit it to Google Search Console
Week 4
Learn and Adjust
✓Review what happened in Week 3. What got clicks? What got ignored? What questions did people ask?
✓Make one specific improvement based on what you learned
✓Set your Month 2 goal: one clear target (your first sale, your first 100 subscribers, your first client)

5.6

Your Action Step: Make the Decision

Before you move to Section 2 (Core Toolkit), write down your answers to these four questions:

Action Step

Answer These Four Questions

  • 01Based on my current skills, which 2–3 levers feel most natural to me?
  • 02How many hours per week can I realistically commit to this in the next 90 days?
  • 03Do I need income in the next 30 days, or am I playing a longer game?
  • 04What existing assets do I have — audience, website, skills, network?

Then write one sentence: “My starting lever is _______ because _______.”

That decision, written down and committed to, is more valuable than anything else in this module.
